The AS9120 is an Aerospace Quality Management System and was developed for Aviation stockists and distributors. The standard addresses the requirements that distributors must focus on to ensure that only approved, conforming parts make their way into the supply chain. In recent years the concern of "black market" or "bogus" parts has reached heightened levels and the AS9120 includes requirements that effectively implemented, will assist Leki Aviation to minimize the risk of such activity.

Based on ISO 9001:2008, but with approximately 100 additional Aviation specific requirements, the AS9120 Quality Management System sets the standards for a comprehensive quality system focused on all areas of product safety and reliability. These quality requirements are crucial to the Aerospace industry, which maintain a high level of liability. The AS9120 suppliers, who also comply with FAA Advisory Circular AC 00-56A, must demonstrate superior performance to succeed in today's competitive and cyclical aerospace market.

Leki Aviation A/S is the first ever AS9120 approved company that has gone directly to the AS9120 standard, without first having the ISO 9001:2000.

 

With the EN/AS9120 approval, we are therefore automatically ISO 9001:2008 approved as well. We are very proud to have this approval and the recognition as a world class service provider to the Aviation industry.
